Call for applications:

Travel grants to participate in the 35th International Hegel Congress of the International Hegel Society in Tbilisi (Georgia) from 30.9. to 4.10.2024.

We are pleased to announce that for the active participation in the congress (section speech)

Travel scholarships for young researchers

will be available. The call for applications is aimed at advanced students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers who would like to present a section speech at the congress. The costs for travel to and back from the congress as well as accommodation will be covered.

Applicants are expected to submit an informative exposé (max. 3500 characters incl. spaces) in which the exact topic of the speech and the central thesis are outlined and from which it is clear how and in which steps the thesis is to be justified.

Applications should be sent to the Chair of the Board of the International Hegel Society, Prof. Dr. Myriam Gerhard (myriam.gerhard@uni-oldenburg.de).

The deadline for applications is 1 June 2024.

The Executive Board of the International Hegel Society together with the local organizing committee of the Congress will decide on the awarding of the scholarships from among the applications received.

Up to 5-7 young researchers from abroad (Non-german) will be supported by the Georgian side
